All KATAKA actuators are based on the segmented spindle technology.

The spindle segments are coiled up in a storage unit inside the black box. The maximum stroke of this particular product, the KATAKA 400, is 400mm.
The height of the KATAKA actuator is 50mm. With the maximum
stroke of KATAKA 400 the total height is 450mm.
The actuator can be attached to mechanisms using the M8x8 threads which are placed on all six sides of the unit. This provides great flexibility.
The dimensions of the KATAKA actuator are 50 x 125 x 415 mm.
